Privacy Policy

Rally is a private tennis app. We store the minimum amount of data needed to make matches happen with your circle. We never sell your data, never share it with advertisers, and never build a profile of you for any other product. Your phone number is hashed in the database and only accepted friends can see it.

• Account: email address, display name, and (optional) avatar.
• Profile: phone number, NTRP rating, match range, favorite venues.
• Social graph: the friends you connect with and invite codes you generate.
• Activity: match results and scores you log.
• Auth session: a cookie/local storage entry that keeps you signed in. That's the only cookie we use.

The demo at /app stores everything locally in your browser only — we don't see any of it until you create an account.

Strictly to run Rally for you and your circle:

• Show you the friends and matches you signed up to see.
• Match you with friends by NTRP and overlapping availability.
• Auto-link friends who invite each other by phone number.
• Pre-fill iMessage hand-offs (we never send the message — your phone's Messages app does).

• Sell your data to anyone, ever.
• Share it with advertisers or data brokers.
• Build a cross-app or cross-site profile of you.
• Show ads, run tracking pixels, or load third-party analytics that fingerprint you.
• Read or relay the content of your iMessages — those leave Rally entirely.

Phone numbers power friend auto-linking, so we treat them carefully. We store a hashed version for matching, and the original phone is visible only to your accepted friends — enforced at the database level, not by app code. People who aren't in your circle can't see it.

Account, profile, friends, and results are stored in our managed backend. Demo data at /app never leaves your browser's localStorage.

• Delete your account: go to Profile → Delete account. Your profile, friendships, invites, and results are removed.
• Export your data: email us and we'll send everything we have on you within 30 days.
• Correct your data: edit your profile directly in the app.
• Clear demo data: clear site data for this domain in your browser.

Rally is for users 13 and older. If we learn we've collected data from a child under 13, we'll delete it.

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll bump the effective date at the top.
