What we get asked most. If something's missing, just open the demo — most questions answer themselves in about 30 seconds.
Yes — 100% free, forever. No premium tier, no ads, no card on file, no upsells. Rally is built for tennis circles, not for an investor exit.
No. The demo at /app is fully usable without signing up — everything runs in your browser's local storage. Sign up only when you want your data to persist across devices and to invite real friends.
Rally is a PWA (progressive web app). Open the site on your phone and tap 'Add to Home Screen' — it installs and behaves like a native app, no App Store needed.
Invite by phone number. Rally sends an iMessage with a join link. When your friend installs and signs up with that same number, the friendship is auto-linked — no friend requests, no usernames to remember.
No. Rally has no public profile, no search, no 'people you may know.' Your circle is exactly the people you've invited and accepted.
It's hashed for invite matching and stored encrypted. Only friends you've accepted can read it. We never sell, share, or expose it via the public API.
The National Tennis Rating Program — a 1.0–7.0 scale used in most US leagues. 3.0 is solid recreational, 4.0 is competitive club-level, 5.0+ is open/tournament. If you don't know yours, start at 3.0 and adjust.
Only if you choose to. You set a match range (e.g. 3.0–4.0) and Rally hides windows outside it — both ways. Loosen the range on a slow week if you want.
Of course — they're still in your friend list. The range only filters your feed of open windows; you can always tap an out-of-range friend directly and invite them.
Same as players — free account, same flow. Coaches get a coach-mode feed that shows every student's coach-tagged windows in one place, plus per-student session history.
No. Rally never touches money. Coaches handle payment however they already do — Venmo, Zelle, cash, invoicing. We just handle the scheduling.
Only the windows you tag 'Coach' or 'Either.' Anything tagged friends-only stays invisible to coaches.
Only people you've explicitly shared with: friends you've accepted, and coaches you've authorized. Windows are tagged per-audience — you control what's visible to whom.
Yes. Delete from your profile screen — phone, name, NTRP, windows, friendships, and lesson history all wipe. We do not soft-delete.
No. We don't sell data, we don't train models on it, and we don't share it with third parties for advertising.
